Livy's Dance Recital

This past weekend we had the honor of watching our youngest daughters Dance Recital. This was a three day affair that started Thursday and ended Saturday night. Livy performed in two dances. The first was on Thursday evening where she did her Jazz routine. We had terrible seats that were quite a distance from the stage so I wasn’t able to get any good pictures. The second dances was hip hop and it was performed on Saturday night. We had great seats on the fifth row from the stage thanks to Molly and Mady for going way early…….an hour and a half before the recital started.

I posted the pictures in the Photo Albums section. Toward the end are some pictures of some of the other performers. There were dancers as young as 3 or 4 and as old as 17 and 18. Each evening lasted for about 2 hours. Livy did a great job and we enjoyed watching her along with the other performers.

Livy's 5th Grade Day Talent Show

I put up a video on the YouTube Video page. Livy is singing for the first time in front of an audience. Although she is a little flat, she does a good job. She said she wasn’t nervous but you can tell at the beginning that she may have a few butterflies. Head on over to the YouTube Video page to see the video. It’s the first one at the top of the page.

Abby's 8th Grade Formal

I know it has been a while since my last update, but things have been pretty busy around here. I finally had a little time to put together a few pictures of Abby’s 8th grade formal. It is hard to believe that she will be a freshman next year and that Mady will be a senior!! Livy is also moving on up to Jr High!

Christmas Pictures

Well as usual we were traveling the week of Christmas. We were able to get to both grandparents houses. I have posted some pictures of the girls. Didn’t get to take many this year. I’ll post some others when I have more time. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and is looking forward to a great new year. Here is the direct link to the Photos.
