Photo's in Picture Download Page

I have had several request for the pictures of Mimi's Funeral Reception. Sorry for the delay in getting the pictures up on the Download Page, but they are now available. I put them in 3 zipped files in order to compress them and make them easier to download. You can right click then "save as" or just click on each file to download them.
Once you have downloaded the files, if you are a Mac user you can just double click the files and they will self extract. If you use Windows and don't have an unzipping program just click here. Download and install Winzip and you can extract the pictures by double clicking on the files. Winzip has a 45-day free use period. After the 45 days you can still use it, but you will get a pop up window every time you open it asking if you want to pay for the program.

Since I started this website, about a year ago, I have had the privilege of posting mostly good news and pictures related to our family adventures.
This post is a bit different. About two weeks ago Molly's grandmother, Mimi, passed away. She would have been 94 on the 22nd of this month. I have known Mimi since Molly and I started dating over 20 years ago. She always treated me like part of the family from the first day I met her. She was a wonderful lady and I know she will be missed by all of us.
Although I wasn't able to go to the funeral and reception, Molly did get some pictures of the reception. I think you will see in the pictures that family and friends were able to celebrate and share their memories of the good times they had with Mimi.
Mimi, you will be missed.
If any of you want some or all of the reception pictures, just send me an email and I will post them on the Picture Download Page.

I know most of you have had some wet and cold weather over the past few days. I got these pictures from Mom. Thought you might like to see the snow. She said it has snowed about 8 inches. Kinda looks like Colorado?

I added a weather widget to the site. You will see it over on the right hand side under the website menu. It show you the local weather. If you click in the middle of the widget it will go full screen. It looks pretty cool. Try it out. Just press the "escape" key to turn it off.

Well, it is February here in the big city so I guess you'll know what time it is?
That's right, it's the month of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! In the spirit of the rodeo, the local schools have a rip snortin square dance. You can find the pictures in the Photo Albums Section.
We also had a very exciting basketball game this past week. The game was tied up with 3 minutes left to play in the 4th period. And you will have to view the pictures to see who won! Click here to see who won. The game was away so we are the visiting team.
